“I have been an enthusiastic but poor golfer for years so thank heavens for Charlie Day at Grip Golf. I have had 7 lessons with him and they have been absolutely transformative. He has a lovely calm relaxed style that puts you at ease immediately and his instruction style is fantastic. The facilities are great and I’d recommend that anyone - wherever they are with their game - gives Grip and Charlie a try. I’m looking forward to my next 3 lessons and will deffo book more!”

“Have been a member since last Dec and have been having such a great time. 2 bays for swing analysis or course play and a recently added bigtilt putting green helped set me up for a good experience on the course. All members I’ve encountered are super nice and the coaching team too. Dave Chapman gave me my intro and has been my coach - I don’t have enough words to describe how much of a legend he is. Conclusion: you won’t regret joining Grip Golf Deptford”

His coaching is incredibly detailed and structured — every session is clear, purposeful and tailored exactly to what you need. I’ve tried a number of coaches in London and Charlie is genuinely the best I’ve worked with. He explains the mechanics in a way that makes sense, gives you simple feels to take away, and the changes translate quickly onto the course. The lesson bundles are excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of coaching and technology available. “After a long break from playing, I picked up my clubs again around two years ago. However, with the UK weather limiting practice time, I wasn’t progressing as quickly as I’d hoped. I joined Grip Golf and had an introductory session with Dave Chapman. We built an instant rapport, and he quickly identified a few key adjustments in my swing. He also introduced me to TrackMan and showed me how to use it effectively to monitor my progress. Having never taken lessons before, I decided to book a series of sessions. After just three lessons, I’m striking the ball better than ever. Dave is flexible in his approach and has a real talent for explaining concepts in a way that makes them easy to understand and apply. I’m now making the progress I was aiming for and couldn’t recommend him more highly.”

Since then I have continued to have lessons with him and my swing has improved dramatically, making me a lot more confident for when I go on to the course. David is enthusiastic when coaching and has been more than happy to go the extra mile, offering to help with analysis of my swing outside of the lesson, or staying around for an extra 10 minutes to ensure I have a clear understanding of what I need to do The facility is also great, large bays, and the use of trackman has allowed me to use the in-depth data to understand how my swing is impacting the ball flight, which gives me targets to aim for with each swing. I would highly recommend”

I even felt a little guilty because my appointment made him miss a beautiful sunset with his wife — not exactly the best timing on my part 😅 Despite that, he was never annoyed and helped me calmly and professionally until the end. A truly kind person and a great experience. Highly recommended!”

“The price broken down from monthly to daily is half the price of 100 balls at a driving range,the equipment is the beat out there the location is close to me,the coaches prices are better than the competition and finally the quite solitude of the studio where I can really focus without all the noise. Plus one month free membership and also dave chapman who gave my induction gave me some great swing tips. All in all I'm very pleased .Will be using the studio daily.”
