“Have been a member since last Dec and have been having such a great time. 2 bays for swing analysis or course play and a recently added bigtilt putting green helped set me up for a good experience on the course. All members I’ve encountered are super nice and the coaching team too. Dave Chapman gave me my intro and has been my coach - I don’t have enough words to describe how much of a legend he is. His coaching is incredibly detailed and structured — every session is clear, purposeful and tailored exactly to what you need. I’ve tried a number of coaches in London and Charlie is genuinely the best I’ve worked with. He explains the mechanics in a way that makes sense, gives you simple feels to take away, and the changes translate quickly onto the course. “After a long break from playing, I picked up my clubs again around two years ago. However, with the UK weather limiting practice time, I wasn’t progressing as quickly as I’d hoped. I joined Grip Golf and had an introductory session with Dave Chapman. We built an instant rapport, and he quickly identified a few key adjustments in my swing. He also introduced me to TrackMan and showed me how to use it effectively to monitor my progress. Having never taken lessons before, I decided to book a series of sessions. After just three lessons, I’m striking the ball better than ever. Dave is flexible in his approach and has a real talent for explaining concepts in a way that makes them easy to understand and apply. I’m now making the progress I was aiming for and couldn’t recommend him more highly.”

“I had an induction with David chapman and instantly he was able to identify why I was having problems with my golf game. Since then I have continued to have lessons with him and my swing has improved dramatically, making me a lot more confident for when I go on to the course. David is enthusiastic when coaching and has been more than happy to go the extra mile, offering to help with analysis of my swing outside of the lesson, or staying around for an extra 10 minutes to ensure I have a clear understanding of what I need to do The facility is also great, large bays, and the use of trackman has allowed me to use the in-depth data to understand how my swing is impacting the ball flight, which gives me targets to aim for with each swing. I would highly recommend”

“The price broken down from monthly to daily is half the price of 100 balls at a driving range,the equipment is the beat out there the location is close to me,the coaches prices are better than the competition and finally the quite solitude of the studio where I can really focus without all the noise. “Very handy having a golf practice place right next to beautiful St Katherine’s Dock. The Trackman tech gives you all the stats you could possibly want. There are clubs and balls free to use. And you can book and practice through the night! It’s underground and it can get a bit hot. There is a fan but wear a light shirt. Instructors are also really good and friendly.”

“Great location for practising your golf. The feedback from the highspeed camera and trackman data can really help you understand your shots and what needs improving, whether that be swing path, low point, angle of attack or club face angle. Charlie, my grip golf coach, has massively improved my golf in every way and I've gone from a beginner to low 20s handicap in just over 6 months. He's also patient, a great listener and will work with your swing, rather than against it. They are increasing the number of bays at the facility and this will hopefully alleviate the one small issue, which is you have to be quite prompt on booking the peak time slots (roughly 6-8pm) when they become available, or you might have to settle for a different time. Overall highly recommend signing up if you want to improve your golf or just take some lessons from the great coaches. Customer service is great.”

“This is a very cool new addition to the portfolio of studios this organisation has been running successfully for the last six years around Southeast London. It’s a fantastic upgrade. It’s well positioned. The Facilities are outstanding. There is plenty of room. There are clubs available for those who do not have their own. Trackman data capture, video upload and practice data consolidation – all the tech there is exemplary. There’s front on and down the line video recording by default. The place is easy to get to. Parking is straightforward. There’s room also to expand and I hear that putting will be coming soon. I’d recommend this to anybody who plays golf and who wants to take on some insightful reflection on how to be better at their game and how to have more fun on the golf course. Lessons are also available and coaching staff are excellent; though this is not essential. Any golfer will get a ton of value out of this place.”

“Firstly I'll say that I know charlie day personally he's a great friend and a great golfer. Before jumping in and seeing him for a lesson in person at the facility, Charlie has always helped me with my game. He's never one to hold back on sharing his knowledge of the game and the golf swing. It was time to actually pay him for that shared knowledge! In my first lesson he immediately pointed out some swing flaws I have and set out some great drills and movements I needed to work on. As ever charlie hasn't disappointed and my accuracy and ball striking has improved no end!! I can't recommend him enough for golf lessons you'll have access to somone who loves the game who loves helping people improve!”
